Purolator Courier announced today that it will not be accepting packages for delivery until further notice. The courier service will attempt to deliver all the packages currently in its pipeline.
The move comes on the heels of a 72-hour strike notice issued by the Teamsters, the union representing the majority of Purolator’s front line workers. The union’s members had voted overwhelmingly to reject Purolator’s February 3rd Final Offer.
Purolator is the main service provider of courier package services to Canada Post.
